CSA Registration Now Open for 2025!

2025 will be our 18th season of our Community Supported Agriculture program. In that time, we have feed as many as 75 families per week for the entire growing season, May through October. Many of those families have been with us since the beginning, or nearly so.

Which is why the program has been consistently full for almost a decade. We've only opened up new spaces once in that time and that was during the pandemic lockdowns when so many families didn't have access to fresh vegetables.

We are opening a limited number of share spaces to accommodate more families next season!

Community Supported Agriculture

What is CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA, is a partnership with your farmer. CSA members support the budget of the farm during the off season and, in return, receive a share of what’s in season. We began our CSA program in 2007 when it was a relatively unknown idea here in the KC Metro.

How Our Program Works

At Wolf Creek we operate on a very traditional model ...

  • The community invests a set amount in the winter, based on their family size.

  • The farm utilizes those investments for purchasing seeds and supplies and to fund off-season operations.

  • When the main harvest begins mid-May, the community investors get their share of the vegetable and fruit harvest as the return on their investment!

The 2025 season is set to run for 22 weeks from May 11th through October 11th.

What is in a share?

Throughout the course of the main growing season our CSA members receive a portion of the harvest based on the size share they invested in. We offer two share sizes:

The PARTIAL share is comprised of 5 to 7 freshly harvested items based on the season, in volume suitable for a couple or family with small children. Price: $400

The FULL share is comprised of 7 to 9 freshly harvested items based on the season, in volume suitable for a family of four. Price: $550

As the seasons change so do the offerings, starting with things like leafy greens, radishes, spring onions, beets and cabbage in May and June, gradually moving into summer goodies like tomatoes, peppers, summer squashes, onions, eggplant and more through June, July, and August, then joined with late veggies like winter squashes and potatoes in September and October.

We also offer fruits from other local farms and orchards when in season, like peaches and apples. You can find a more detailed list of the various offerings throughout the season here: Fresh Local Produce — Wolf Creek Family Farm
